    Hi all!

    Anyone know who can sign the declaration at the end of the form?

    Thanks

    Hi Oldjonah, welcome aboard!

    Which partnership form is it as there are several? Is it the form you need to complete or your sponsor? I would guess that the declaration would be signed by the person completing the form as it wants him/her to declare that what has been entered on the form is valid info. It usually tells you on the form who needs to sign the declaration.

    Its the form with the statutory declaration at the end. Who can sign that?

    I think they've all got some sort of declaration at the end, which is why I queried it.

    Is it this form which is for a work permit sponsored by a partner?

    Or is it this one which is the sponsorship form for residency?

    Or this one for residency as the principal applicant?

    There is also a sponsorship related to partners on a visit visa, so you can see it is a bit confusing.

    I wonder if you mean 'Who can witness the signing of the declaration?' In which case the declaration must be witnessed by a person authorised to take statutory declarations, such as a Justice of the Peace, a lawyer, or a Notary Public.

    @MotherBear:
    I think oldjonah mentioned quite clearly the form number in the thread title (1146)
    I wonder if you mean 'Who can witness the signing of the declaration?
    Exactly.

    @oldjonah:
    The form itself states at the top of page 2 under "What do I have to do?"
    Justices of the Peace, solicitors or notaries public are authorised to take a statutory declaration.
    However, MotherBear has (reliably as always) given the desired answer already
