Default Study question

I just got my open work permit.. but have decided to go back to Personal Training and get fully qualified here in NZ

To do that I ll have to do a part time course 2x3hours a week for 8 or 9months
Does anyone know if I m allowed to do that or do I need a student visa?

Hi Simone,

Looks like you would need to apply for a change in your work permit conditions .

Applying for a change in your permit conditions
You can apply for a variation of conditions to your current permit if:

You are a visitor or worker in New Zealand and wish to study part time.
You are on a student permit and want to change courses or course providers. You must prove you have an offer of a place from the education provider to which you wish to transfer. Any new course must still be taken within the period of the original permit.
You are on a student permit and want to work while studying.
