Default Workingn and living in NZ

I'm so sorry if isn't here the right place to post but I think it seems to be.

My question is the following:

I'm 24 years old and I'm graduating in law in next December and I assume I have a very good english level (14 years studying and one year living in London)

Based on that, I'm thinking about moving to NZ to fix residence but i'm not sure about each visa should I apply, if it's possible.

It's very import to say that even I'm used to law books i'm hard worker and a quick learner guy. The year I was in London I started as a waiter and when i came back I was store manager in a coffee shop (I have documents to prove experience).

So, I would like to thanks in advance for the helpful tips that certainly will show up!

Bye!

Are you hoping to get permanent residency in NZ with your law degree? There are different visas you can apply for, but not all of them will allow you to stay permanently in NZ and some of them require that you have special skills before you can apply.

If you want to apply directly for residency using the Skilled Migrant Category you would need to check whether your accounting skills are required in NZ and you can do this here . You can claim points which will help your application. In this previous thread there are links which will help you with the points system.

If your skills are needed in NZ but you can't get enough points, getting a job offer is one good way of increasing them.

The above is just one visa type and, if you don't fit into that category, you may need to try a different one.
