Far out! I only submitted my work permit application 7days ago, got a text message saying 'we will try to process this application within 30days' last night and today I got it approved! WOW i have to say, I am STOKED :)

Great News Kiaora- that was pretty quick. They seem to have their bums in gear at the moment- hope it stays that way when we get arround to putting in an aplication.

Bet such a releif to know you got it now though!

yes they are pretty good right now.. my application did get transfered to manukau though, I guess the city one might have been too busy or something, but yes big relief I am wrapped :))))))
next step will be PR in about 7months time ... I am already starting to get everything sorted for it now hehe

I am so happy for you! I am hoping things go as quickly here in the US when I get my police certificate, due any day now, and send everything to the New Zealand embassy in Washington. They say to allow at least 15 working days for it to be processed.

That is just so awesome to know they come through for someone now and then!
