Default Extending a WHV
Hiya, just a quick question for you all. If I was to get a 12month WHV and decided to extend it to a 23 month visa whilst over there, what would be the costs incurred doing this? Would I have to pay a fee and how much does the medical cost?

Hi Queenie and welcome.

You can find a list of INZ fees here. It looks like you'd have to pay the same for an extension as for a new WHV - NZ$120.

The cost of medicals can vary from place to place and doctor to doctor so it's often worth shopping around if there's more than one panel doctor in your area, but this will give you some idea of prices.
