Hi All

I am applying for a general work permit, and was wondering if anyone can tell me how long it will take to process my application? I am already in New Zealand on a Working Holiday Visa.

Hi Racky and

It shouldn't take very long to get a WP although it generally depends on how busy the INZ branch is that you're dealing with. Some people have walked in and come out with their permit in their hands, but others have had to wait a number of weeks. Your best bet would be to enquire of the branch you intend using as to how long they think it would take.

I hold a work permit.May I work for 2 companies.
One is part time after hours??
My permit states that I'm allowed to work for the company I am employed with

Hi Rudolph,

You are only allowed to work for the company stated on your work permit. You can ask immigration if they will add the second company on though, which they may do if there is a good reason.
