Default Work Permit
I have a query regarding Work Permit.

For a person who is in New Zealand (working and having a Work Visa that is about to expire) is it possible to get a work permit if he/she gets a contract job ?

Hi,

Your work permit is tied to your employer, and although its possible to get a permit for a contract position, the permit will only be for as long as the contract of employment.
