Yes, I'd keep it as brief as possible without losing too much of what you really want to put across. She might get bored half way through if it's too long . You don't have to have bells and ribbons on it, just give her the facts and the assurance that the Oz issue won't happen again because the circumstances will be different.

It's good if you've written it all down because it's easier to pick through it and cut bits out until your happy with it.

I'm off to bed now and off to Switzerland for a few days tomorrow so I won't be far away from you.

Hi everyone!
I m back with some more and really good news!

My partner has spoken to INZ today, they got out all the information they have on me and my visa application and suggested for me to go ahead with the current application.
What they expect from me in my letter of comment is purely to be honest about my situation.
So I am now about to write a book about what has happened in order to provide all the relevant (and probably irrelevant as well ) information

They will then look at what I have provided in order to lead me in the right direction.
So I guess that means I can expect my WHS to be declined but after that, having been honest about everything I can go ahead and apply for a different and more accurate visa.
They even said I should apply for residency
They said that the 12months requirement is only a guideline so that people wont come along and say, oh yea by the way we have fallen in love over night.. can I please get residency?

So the woman he spoke to said that she s sure we ll have enough information to prove that our relationship is genuine and that we have good chances to get residency right away.
WOW i have to say! we have only really lived together for 3months although been together for 9months and spent more time apart than together, so I am quite shocked to hear those news!
anyway reason to once again be happy!
i hope all the ups and downs will come to an end soon

I will keep you posted and hope that my information might be helpful for someone else as well!!

Hi MB!

If the weather in anything like Germany, then...
It's been shocking here!!!

Yes I guess my news are quite good, although I'm expecting to get my current visa application declined :( which means I'm even further away from seeing my partner any time soon .. soooooo frustrating!

I guess that they will advice for me to apply for a work permit under partnership and am already getting all my paperwork together, just in case, so that I won't loose too much time!!!
I was really hoping to go to NZ beginning of the year, but it doesn't look like I've got much hope other than, if am approved this visa now...

This is the 2nd visa I put in, in the hope to return to my fiance..
I'm quite over all this by now, but what can I do :(
If only everything was straight forward....

I hope you are there to go skiing???

MB, I meant to tell you, you said that nz badly wants their people to return back home.
Far as having this to help get an application through, they are after their 'qualified people' and 'maoris'...

I did read somewhere that foreign partners of qualified kiwis, wanting to return back to NZ, will be priority to have their residence visa processed in order to get those kiwis back home quickly.

(sorry I'm having a really bad english day today )

No we're in an industrial area because my husband is on a business trip. Today is the first day we can get out to do some sightseeing and tomorrow we fly back to Oman again. At least it has stopped raining but is even colder now. It will be good to get back to the warmth of Oman.

First of all, happy new year to all of you!!!!!!!!

I am still waiting for a decision on my working holiday visa :( i put it in on the 21st November so it s been ages ... :(((((((( i really hope for an answer soon.. they havent even told me when a decision will be made

I'm afraid your application will have been slowed down because of the Christmas/New Year holiday. Perhaps once they all snap out of their holiday mode and get down to work again, things will start moving once more.
