Yup think I'll go ahead with the Police cert but agree with mother bear bout the medical. I'm sure I'll be able to have that done in NZ as for the Irish Police cert it's free so might as well do that ja couple of weeks before my departure.
I'm soooo excited!!! Got a pick from my partner of where we'll be staying and the flat is right on the beach!

You can have your medical done by an ordinary GP in NZ so it should work out quite a bit cheaper than using a private panel doctor in Ireland.

A flat right by the beach. How unfortunate for you. Think of all that sand in between your toes.

Great to hear that you're so excited. Nothing quite like a bit of excitement to get the adrenalin going. Hope it all goes swimmingly for you.

If anyone out there has had or knows someone who had some experience in regards to the temporary workpermit please let me know how it turned out.

just read your thread ,, im thinking of doing same thing ,, joining partner inNZ then applying for temp permit ,, i also have 2 kids which im not sure whichvisa ect they require ,, i hope all works goodfor you , im hoping to go june 2008
the nz immagration site is quite confusing so im thinking of applying on arival in NZ
