Thumbs up Work permit and marriage-------urgent plzz

I am working as an expat teacher in Indonesia.I have been dating a nz lady for the past 4 months and we have plans to marry in june.I wanna go to nz on a tourist visa and then marry her.
1.After marriage, can I get an extension of visa to process my work permit?.What document will I be given to allow me to stay in nz immediately after marriage?.

2.How long will it take to process any document that will allow me to stay with my wife?

3.Will I be able to do casual work just because I have to support my wife even if I dont have work permit?

Marrying a kiwi doesn't change anything with regard to your visa situation. You need to be able to convince INZ that you are in a stable and genuine relationship. You could possibly extend your visit visa but I wouldn't like to say how long it would take to process a work permit. That can depend on which branch you apply to and how busy they are.

You could look at this visa to see if it fits your circumstances. Usually, you need to have been living together for at least 12 months to be able to apply for a long term visa but this visa doesn't appear to ask for that.

If you have been in this relationship for less than a year, initially we can only grant you a work visa for up to 12 months. Once you are here, you can apply for further work visas for a total stay of up to two years from your arrival, if:

    * you and your partner want to stay longer in New Zealand and can show us that you are still in a genuine and stable relationship, or
    * you apply for residence as a partner.

You cannot work legally in NZ without either having residency or a work permit.

    Dude,
The rules are here: Temporary work requirements family stream (as MotherBear pointed out), and they don't mention marriage.
The tricky part will be collecting evidence of you living with your partner, once you're here on a Tourist visa.
04/11/09 - EOI selected (125 points, no job offer)
    30/11/09 - Decision successful
    09/12/09 - ITA received
    23/12/09 - Application submitted
03/03/10 - Case officer assigned (requested more documents)
05/03/10 - Job offer secured (IT)
12/03/10 - Work permits issued (1 year ISSL, 1 year partnership)
13/04/10 - INZ Interview (re relationship)
    22/05/10 - Approved in Principle
    04/06/10 - Residence Permits issued

    thanks till,
we have much money transfers occurring between us,we have already paid for a place to live together after marriage,we have many mails to show how stable our relationship
