Default Work Talent visa New delhi processing time

    Greetings everyone.

I searched a lot for this answer but dint able to find it so i am posting it.

I be applying for work permit talent visa next week to New delhi branch since they mentioned for indian nationals this is the option.

I have job offer from NZ employer.

I read in the website it takes 6 weeks for allotting and rest 12 weeks max for stamping.

Does it really takes this much time.

However they have mentioned something in website of positive profile which takes 10 days.

My work is an IT programmer work.

Any one have any ideas or is it possible that i can apply directly to NZ branch for faster processing.

    Appreciate your help

    thanks

I haven't heard of this before. Are you able to post a link to it? It would save me hunting around to find it.

If you got the timelines off the New Delhi page for processing applications, I guess that would be pretty accurate (if they keep it up to date, that is ). How long applications take usually depends on how busy the branch is at the time.

If you are in NZ you could apply within NZ to the local offices, else if you are still in India then they will just redirect your application back to the New Delhi office or processing so will actually take longer. If your employer is accredited (which they must be if you are applying for a talent visa) then it can speed things up as they don't have to do labour market checks first. Whether it's any quicker from within NZ, no one can say. As MotherBear says, it depends on how busy the branch is at the time.

Hi I filed for an visa finally but i got one email saying this

I write to update you that I will refer your medical certiticate to INZ Medical Assessor in NZ for assessing your health, given your medical certificate has been recorded as significant findings because you appear to have hypertension and dyslipidemia.

I should know the result within 6 weeks or more given the X-Mas and New Year break.

    Kind regards

Any idea wether wvisa be resjected or approved

Really hard to say, it's really up to the medical assessor at this stage! Good luck

I don't think Vikasvasudev has been on the forum for some time Yuva, so I hope someone else can help you.
