Bosses expect to be hiring more staff in the next six months, according to a survey by HR consultants Hudson.

Hiring expectations are at their highest level for two years, according to the data.
A net 39 per cent of employers expect to increase their staff numbers between now and the end of the year. That's up five per cent on the same time six months ago.

Hudson executive general manager Marc Burrage says companies appear to be looking beyond pessimism in the economy, to take advantage of business and growth opportunities.
