I know he was an Aussie not a Kiwi - but it's been on the news tonight that Heath Ledger has been found dead at the age of 28 - suspected overdose

I saw that myself. It's sad, really, since he was so young. I enjoyed his films and he was clearly one of the best actors of his generation. I think his work as the Joker in the upcoming Dark Knight movie was going to make him one of the hottest stars in Hollywood.

Seems odd that someone who seemed untroubled and successful in life had it end so abruptly. I wonder if it was an accidental overdose.
