Default Don't care about rugby?

Some people (gasp ) just don't care about rugby

By Belinda McCammon

Lurking throughout the country there exists a cell of people who share a common bond, one which dare not speak its name. These people are everywhere.

They live in our communities, work alongside you, sit next to you on the bus and queue by you at the supermarket.

Outwardly they look just like you and me but they're not.

Some are male, many are female but they are united by one common bond: They could not give a rat's about the Rugby World Cup.

Oh my god! Run for your lives! The end of the world is near! It could be your boss or your co-worker, neighbor or, aaagh, my mother!!! You can't trust anyone!

I live with one, which means all I will hear when is match is on is "your not watching this rubbish, theres work to do around the house", she will then change channels and watch the repeats of Corrie.

Oh my word. Rugby is pretty much the only reason I came to NZ.

Just kidding, but it is pretty #$%@ important!

My wife and boys bought me that sweet All Blacks polo with the blue swatches on the side for Father's Day. I'll be wearing it every day until the Cup comes home!

Oh, and Go Red Sox!

I'm thinking of getting an All Blacks top for the pub. Not sure what reaction I shall get though

Hope none of you get this desperate .

Man stole Weetbix All Blacks cards from boxes
12:14PM Thursday September 06, 2007

A man opened 10 large packets of Weetbix in a supermarket and stole the All Blacks cards inside.

Lindsay Matua Winiata went to the Pak n Save supermarket in Wainoni, Christchurch, on August 31.

He opened 10 large packets of Weetbix - a sponsor of the men in black - and swiped the All Black Stat Attack trading cards inside.

He hid the cards in his clothing and then tried to leave the store with the pile of opened Weetbix boxes unpaid for.

More here .

I know that my kids are crazy for those flippin' cards. I've never had to eat so many Weetbix. And they're not as nice as Weet - A - bix. I can only force these ones down if I drench them in hot milk. Thanks to my new espresso machine, I'm averaging two lattes, an espresso and six weetbix a day! It's a good job I'm in serious training for the Coast to Coast......

ps, Can anyone swap Dan Carter for Luke McAlister?
