Don't you ever watch 'Family Guy'? Where I come from, people do actually say, 'freakin' sweet.' I grew up about 30 miles from the town the show is based on ... though I never saw any talking dogs.

Oh, BTW, I nearly dropped dead to the floor the first time someone in NZ said, 'sweet as.' I thought he said something else which would have been entirely inappropriate in a bike shop with nothing but three men in it.
