Help! I screwed up!

I was trying to start a new blog as it's gone a bit quiet in that dept. lately but couldn't work out how to do it. There was nothing obvious inviting me to start a new one. I followed Taffy's original instruction on how to start a blog but it only invited me to save changes in my blog setup.

I blundered into Blog Control Panel and found a message box that looked promising so I did the business and posted part of my offering (only allowed 2000 characters so this is going to be very fragmented). However, my post appeared to have attached itself to my existing blog 'Let's see if we can do it right this time'. I took it upon myself to delete that post, but it seems to have deleted the whole blog. Now I have no blogs to my name.

I know my blog isn't important but it helps fill up the space a bit. Taffy, I don't know whether you can help me get it back or not. I found a link for viewing deleted blogs but it just said I didn't have any. Perhaps you will be able to find it. I did want to move my 'Yellow Bear in Borneo' thread from the Coffee House to merge with my blog but there didn't seem to be an option for that. I only put that thread in the Coffee House because I couldn't post photos in the blog section. I thought it was time to merge it all together as it's inter-related.

And someone please remind me how to start a new blog. It would be typical to find that I haven't got the relevant link for it as that's happened before.

Sorry Bear, your blog has been well and truely deleted. All you needed to do was click 'Post to your blog' to add a new entry. You only get one blog (thats how blogs work!) but you post multiple entries to it, under different titles.

No worries, it wasn't much of a blog anyway. It just might confuse anyone starting to read my Yellow Bear in Borneo thread because they won't know how I came to be yellow (as if anyone is particularly interested now ) and some of it won't make sense. Still, it'll keep them guessing.

However, I'm now left with the remnants of my 'new' blog. The system kindly deleted the blog I didn't want it to but left some sort of entry from my new blog which I don't know if I can use. I'll have to look at it more closely now if I'm starting from scratch.

OK, so now I'm into my new blog. I found something that says I can make several posts on the blog by saving bits as a draft and then finally publishing it all, which is a good thing as we're only allowed 2000 characters per post which is a bit limiting if you have something to say. I tried to do this but it goes into editing mode, implying that it's going to overwrite what I've already posted. Having already had one nasty brush with the delights of blogging, perhaps I'm not trusting enough so I've entered my second post as a comment which looks really daft. Can you put me straight? God only knows how I managed to cope with my first blog. I didn't have any trouble with that, other than deleting it at the end, of course .
