Members now have the pleasure of:
Social networking
Uploading photo albums
New and improved profiles

Improvements:
Viewing photos as attachements now opens over the forum in a cool effect, rather than opening in a window (you know the one, where you close it and realise you've also closed the forum!).

There's a few other differences, but I'll let you all discover them!!

Oh, one thing I should let you know before hand - when you view a members profile, there is a message service there now. This IS NOT private!! Messages left here are public! You still need to use the regular PM service for private messaging other users.

How will we know who has had messages? Surely we won't have to go in and out of everyone's profile and snoop around. Perhaps we're not meant to know if we aren't included in the 'conversation'?

Not sure if this is the right thread, but I like the new brightly coloured forum. I also liked the medals (not that I had one) and the bars, but they seem to have vanished...

And what's going on with the friend requests? I thought we were friends. Are we taking things to the next level? Will you be asking for money off me next?

Well, if you've got your hands in your pockets....

This forum has always had a donation/subscription service for people who are keen, it's just not very visible!

The friends network is more to do with the social groups. We need to stop missing the trick and start getting together like real world friends do!

Sadly not. The idea of handing over $1000 real cash for $1000 pretend credit, and then having to pay extortionate cash transaction fees on every use just didnt seem to add up to me! I'd rather work for real, spend anywhere cash than useless Bartercards you can't use to sponsor forums

I didn't know that. The fact that you have to pay income tax and GST on the value of your bartered 'income' sort of defeats the object doesn't it.....
