I doubt anyone wants to hear the daily goings-on in Oman. They're on here to read about immigrating and NZ .

I just hope that people don't post exclusively on the blogs and don't leave anything for the main forum. Often people don't look up at the titles across the top (nor even down as far as this Website Enhancements category) so, when this thread disappears into the mists of time, they won't know that we even have a blog site. I'm sure the most popular threads on the forum are those from folks who have just arrived in NZ and are giving their thoughts about it.

Note that the blogs are not just for NZ writings, they are blogs which members are free to use about whatever subject they wish, as long as it's legal and not some kind of hate thing etc etc!

Feel free to blog about whatever you want! We all have lives outside the immigration process, although I know it doesnt feel like it when you're in the middle of it!!

The blogs are more visible but it gives no indication whether they've been updated or not. The entries that appear at the top (or left) give the date the blogs were started and not the last posts, which is misleading and can cause people to think nothing has moved on there since.

I had to physically go into 'Blogs' to see if anyone had posted on there and found that there were several new posts. Although posts have been made today, it still says there are zero new entries in the little stats box.

Good to see the blogs are being fed pretty regularly. Keep it up .

I was thinking the exact same thing. The thing is, it shows when the blogs are updated, and not when the comments are, so will only update when a member makes a new entry in the blog. I'll keep working on it....
