Do you mean when a member creates a new blog? If we post a comment on a blog (what I could call 'making a new entry') it doesn't show up. It just shows the date the blog was first created.

Comments are seperate to entrys. If you made a new entry to your blog, you would also get a new page for people to comment on. The comments are meant to be about the actual post you're reading, not generally about the blog itself (or other topics!). Thats why you get a clean comments page per entry.

Not sure that answers my question (not even sure I even understand what you're on about).

Basically, what I meant was we can't tell, without going into the Blog site, whether someone has added a comment or not. Going by the front menu page, which is what everyone would look at, you'd never know that several comments have been added very recently. I think maybe it's the word 'Posted' that throws me and implies the last post (comment) was on that date. If it said 'Created' against that date instead of 'Posted' it would explain it a bit better. Maybe?

Is there anyway of sorting the blog comments so the latest one appears first? Not so bad with only a few comments but once there's a few, will save trawling thru them all to get to the latest one.

Or maybe a button like on the forum posts where you can go straight to the first unread one?

Well, I was going to say that it doesn't say anything - there just wasn't any box or other facility to allow me to post comments. I was able to when the blogs first started, then you put up the blog about the new site improvements and I found I couldn't comment. I then checked the other blogs and there was no comment facility on them either.

Today I've checked again and it's back to normal for some reason. Did it right itself or did you find a glitch?
