Well, at least we've got Internet, despite broadband only being introduced here just after we arrived. Would be nice to think they brought it in especially for me. :D What would I have done without it?

That smiley has a 'bad' word in it, which gets edited by the forum! I'll change the name of it now.

Aaaah, smilies . A subject close to my heart as all you regulars will know. ;)

I've noticed, when I open up the 'More' smilies link and select my chosen character, when I submit my post, the screen then closes down, which is quite convenient if I've finished with them. However, it means that, if I want to use more smilies in another post, I have to reopen the page each time. With the other forums we've had, the smilie screen stayed open until you physically closed it down.

BTW, is there any likelihood of us getting back the 'special' smilies we had previously? I think a few of us did enjoy using them as they added another dimension to the forum and, if you look above, we're now left with a load of dead links.

Pity the rubbishy aiweb ones are still on there as they help to slow the page opening. Wish I'd been able to weed them out when I was down there. Never mind, it's all good stuff.

The smilie links above are still defunct so I guess, it's back to editing them when I find them.

Move to NZ is moving on and moving up. Yay! Would be a good time to weed out any boring old smilies now to refine the page and speed it up. With the forum being new, we won't risk any more red crosses than we have already with links being broken.

P.S. Should this topic be opening to posts from 2005 ? It seems to be stacked front to back with the oldest posts at page 1 and the newest at page 3? Haven't found that on other posts.
