Default Ghosting
Has anyone else found that, when they click on a thread to open it, they get a flash of the old forum headings i.e. Home, Chat Room, Immigration FAQ etc. before the new style forum loads up? It's not a problem and only lasts a second or two, but just wondered where it came from, as I don't remember seeing it before.

Is the old forum trying to make a comeback?

Perhaps I'm being haunted. The ghosting seems to be lasting a second or two longer now, almost as if the old forum is trying to reinstate itself. Obviously there's still life in the old dog yet.

Are you sure you're not just seeing the headings at the top of this page, while the page sorts itself out? The titles you've named are right up the top of this page.

No, definitely not. The words are in dark grey or maybe blackish colour and are in a bigger font. It only happens when I click on a thread, not at any other time.

It's most likey those links at the top, they appear differently as the links are loaded before the style sheet, so look differently until the correct fonts are applied.

It's a CSS thing Bearski, and a slow connection to the server!
