Guinness is very good for you - full of iron. In hospitals they try to get breast-feeding mothers to drink it before feeding time. I found it too strong and bitter, so they mixed it with lemonade to make it more paletable. Then I got addicted to it and could always tell when feeding time was coming up because I had a fierce craving for a glass of Guinness shandy. Makeson was good, too.

For anyone thinking of taking up Guiness drinking, be warned. I've known several couples who have become pregnant where they hadn't previously succeeded, after starting to drink it.

It's like pulling teeth to get men to share the duties, isn't it? It seems like Taffy should take the next turn bearing a baby.

I'll have to keep the iron content of Guinness in mind next time I'm ready to donate blood.
