Hi
We are looking at properties on South Island on -line from Africa.
It is hard for us to judge if areas are good or bad (what ever that means)
We came across Motueka.
Some of the older houses are quite reasonable in price.... is this because they are too far out/ something wrong ie bad neighbourhood or bad weather.
We will get to look for our selves soon, but it would be interesting if some locals can give us their opinion.
Thanks
Sue

Hiya
How do I go about posting a photo?
Sorry, havent read the whole thread so hope U dont have to repeat this
Have stunning photos of Bay of Islands, Whangarei & surrounds, Tauranga, Lake Taupo, Rotorua ;-)
Oooh photos! Haven't had any news ones for quite a while so we must help you to get them on here.
When you are going to make a post and the message box comes up, if you scroll down a bit you will find Additional Options.
In there you'll see Attach Files and a Manage Attachments button.
Click that and it opens a small box where you can browse photos from your computer.
Choose one and click Upload. The file will upload but must be of the size given or it won't happen if it's too big.
You will see the link for the photo appear in red (if I remember rightly).
You can then continue to do another photo in the same way until you have, I think, a maximum of 5.
You don't need to do anything more other than click Submit Reply under the message box, like when you make a normal post.
To attach more photos you'll need to start a new post and repeat the above for another 5 photos.
Look forward to seeing them. Good luck with posting them.![]()

Here's a few of Christchurch .... they are all taken on the gondola - the first is looking out over Christchurch, the second is the opposite view over Lyttleton Harbour. Finally is the view out towards the Southern Alps.
