Paihia Summer Festival

Some of you folks will no doubt holiday up in the Bay of Islands at some point. ?Just thought I would mention that for about ten days in Paihia they have the Paihia Summer Festival. ?This year it is from the 5th Jan to 14th Jan - certainly a good time to visit, though I would advise booking accommodation early.

Have today visited the Sandcastle Competition. ?Most annoyed with ourselves that we did not turn up earlier with our buckets and spades! ?What competition though!
