Is that better?  There's no in-between size - they're either too big or too indistinct if you're not standing near the camera.  I've modified the above pics and am running with the smaller size.  At least now they can't pick me out of a police line-up.

No, you're not a numptie at all, Fingerscrossed.  We just need to blugeon Taffy into getting that photo uploader installed that he promised some time ago   ::).  

If you have your photos stored on a site like Photobucket, Flikr or whatever, you can get a url from there which you post in the message box.  I use Photobucket and there are image tags ( [img] ), which turn the link into a picture, already at either end of the link so it can be copied and posted on here without needing to do anything else.  If the image tags aren't already on there, you just need to type them in.  The [img] one goes in front and the same, but with a backslash in front, goes at the end.  I can't type it on here because it tries to make an image out of what I'm typing and I end up with either a broken red cross or gobblidigook.

With other photos that are already on the Internet, you can right click on them and go to Properties at the bottom.  Open that and it'll give you a url which you can then copy and paste, but you'll have to add the image tags at either end.

I don't know if this is comprehensible.  Perhaps someone else can explain it more easily.  Or better still, prod Taffy to get our uploader on here.

Aw cheers for that MB, sadly I only store my pics on my desktop so looks like I will have to wait and see if Taffy can install an uploader on before I can share my pics with you all :-/

No, 'fraid not.  It's mainly geared to Arab and Indian tastes (heavyweight and garish), so it's not often I find anything suitable.  Luckily they've got a run on flouncy skirts like this at the moment, so I got lucky.  Had it in red as well but I was too late making up my mind and they'd all gone.  

If you want to open a Photobucket account , it's easy enough and it's free.  Handy for sending pics to friends and family as well as forums.   ;)  I think you have to leave the pics on there though or the link with the forum is broken and you end up with a little red cross or they tell you the photo is no longer available.

Edited to add: Oh, something wrong with the link. Just gives up a load of other adverts. Try this instead.

I'm going to make a new uploader, which for security you'll need to register for. I'll verify all registration requests via PM just to make sure it's really you thats registering!

Bit of a pain sorry, but it's the best way to make sure we dont have another 'incident' like before, taking us offline!

Sounds good to me. ?Better to be safe than have to go through that diabolical mess again. ?Any ideas how long it'll take to put together?

The likes of Photobucket are fine, but if you want to tidy up your albums by deleting older stuff or oddments, it also removes it off the forum which is a pain. ?If you're like me and post quite a few spurious pics from sites like the newspapers, you end up with a load of cr@p to wade through. ?Having a forum uploader will remove the need to use Photobucket apart from items I really want to keep on there. ?

PS. Is it possible to have decent-sized photos like the second lot we had on the old forum? The first ones were a bit mean and it was difficult to see details.

Fianlly sorted out with photo thingys....heres me & Jacky hiding under a driftwood tree on Rabbit Island, it was our first weekend in Nelson and we were (and still are) loving it!
