Uploading photos

Well ... blow me down ... ctrl and F5 has done it. ? ?:-[ ?How am I supposed to know? ?Does anyone else have these problems? ?Do they all know and I am the only thick one on here? ? :-[ ?

I only know about the Ctrl and F5 because of the frequent problems I have in this neck of the woods with seeing some of the changes to the forum because of delays receiving the information and Taffy furnished me with that tip. ?Unless you were really into computers you'd hardly be expected to know things like that. ? ?And no, you're not thick at all.

Maybe a day or two? 'Fraid I cannot be too sure with my PC needing to be 'refreshed' and so forth. :-/

Sometimes I have problems with seeing some of the smileys and just have a red cross on there. ?Other times they're just slow to load up and I have to click on them to wake them up or right click and click on 'Show Picture' before they'll work. ?

If anyone else is having a problem seeing my little flower, please let me know as it looks as normal at my end (for once ::) ). ?It's usually me that has trouble seeing things, so this is quite a change. ? ?:-/

I can't see your flower either. It went off a few days ago, then came back, then disappeared again. Most likely the site you have it linked from is having problems.

Well, that's no good. >:( I'll have to give them the sack. I like to keep a tidy house and can't be doing with smileys that can't make up their mind if they're coming or going. :o

Thanks for confirming that, Taffy. I'll have a dig through my smiley vaults and see what else I can come up with. What's the maximum size for avatars too? I have a stock of them but the ones on the forum now seem quite a bit smaller than on the old forum. Maybe I can't use a lot of my 'stock' now then? :'(

This forum is quite forgiving on avatar size, unlike the old one. It will, however, resize it if it gets too big and might cause disfiguration of the layout.

If you have a good stock of them, perhaps you can send me the files so I can upload them for others to use. I know how generous you are when it comes to sharing smileys and avatars!

OK, so I've changed my avatar for a bigger one but it still looks the same size on the forum i.e. ?SMALL ?:(. ?Maybe you need to change the sizing that it's set at to allow it to show a bigger avatar? A few of the avatars on here, like Stevey's and mine now, lose their definition because they're too small.
