Is this like Christmas in NZ?

Yesterday we had hubster?s work?s department Christmas party. ?It was held in the grounds of an hotel on the coast. ?While we passed the day relaxing, eating and drinking, I compared it to one that may well be had in NZ. ?There were a lot of similarities with our now lower more comfortable temperatures, some palm trees dotted about, a long beach and blue sky. ?If this is how Christmas in NZ is going to be, then I?m more than happy. ?For those of you who are still concerned about missing the UK Christmas cold and wet, the dark and dreary, being muffled up in front of the fire or huddled near the radiator, is the NZ Christmas going to be SO bad after all?

i quite look forward to xmas in nz.my birthday is in dec as well so i think it will be nice as theres always a flu bug around in uk in dec n i usually get it on xmas,new yr or birthday.for years ive said how nice it would be to have birthday in summer n have picnics n bbqs.cant wait.

Yes, Angel. I'd forgotten about those nasty germs that often seem intent on ruining someone's festive season. Yet another plus for having a warm and sunny Christmas.

No, you don't get those horrible winter colds to ruin your christmas, just those lingering summer colds!

Good thing is though, it's more difficult to get colds here as you don't have the crowds of people for colds to breed amongst!
