Right on both accounts, Sara. Pity that the weather is so gruelling. It's more the humidity than the actual temperatures that causes most discomfort, although the heat in summer is very draining.

Yes, Glenda, I could do a lot of good for the Oman Tourist Board if only they'd consider rewarding me for my efforts [smiley=icon_biggrin.gif] . It is a lovely country and they work hard at making it so. There's a lot of building going on now and it's amazing to watch the properties going up. The workmen are still building a house while the painters are following closely behind, painting the place while it's still being built. Once the major work is out of the way, they immediately get the JCB in to clear all the associated mess and the site looks almost pristine by the time the house is finished. The tidying up behind them is almost obsessive but looks good and we appreciate the effort they go to.
