Hi all,

I've created this poll for people to vote on creating an image upload facility so people can post their pictures on the forum.

[smiley=115.gif] When viewing this topic, could you please also consider, even if you don't have any photos to post yourself at the moment, whether you would like to see other people's photos on here? If you would, a vote in the top box would be appropriate, I think.

I should, hopefully, have some pics to post on here in December when we visit NZ, but, in the meantime, I'd still love to see other people's. And they don't even have to be photos of NZ, remember. [smiley=icon_biggrin.gif]

In defense of having a place to upload our own photos to, it does happen, if someone has a link to photos on their website, that the site shuts down, the link ceases to function and we lose the opportunity to view some great photos. Moggy, this has happened in your case and, sadly, we?ve lost the lovely pics you put on for us in May. ?Let?s hope there?ll be a surge of members posting photos when the new upload site is available. ?You ARE going to create one aren?t you, Taffy?

Well, with a massive 83% of people wanting to be able to upload their photos, there will be an upload area!!

It will work like this:

You will be shown a form, which you can click 'Browse' to search for the picture you want to upload. Click on the 'Upload' button and wait very patiently as it can take a few minutes to upload. When the upload is finished, you will be show the link to your photo. Click the 'Img' button that appears when making a new post / replying, copy the link and paste it on to the forum, then click the 'Img*' button and your image will show up.

I will post here again when it is ready :icon_biggrin:

Hmmm. I think maybe even I can handle that. Seems straight forward enough. Will look forward to it, not that I've got anything astounding to put on yet, but you never know when something will turn up that you want to share with the world.
