Default Computers getting overheated in shipping container

    Hi,

It may seem a strange one but the shipping rep was saying that the containers in the middle of the ship get very warm. We are particularly concerned about our computers we have the boxes they were sold but the thought of both our beloved expensive Apple Macs arriving semi melted is scary!

We shipped 3 desktop PC's over and they all arrived in perfect condition. If that helps.

I doubt the computer would get so hot that it would melt. It could affect the life of the battery, but I wouldn't worry overmuch. Take your ice cream as carry on, though

Just as an added note of comfort, out of all the folks on here (past and present) who have shipped down their containers, I don't think I've ever heard of anyone complaining about stuff having been damaged through heat.

    Ha ha SO funny!

Our laptoop was also good to go too, I wouldn't worry. The removal people back in the UK said not to pack candles as they'd melt, I gave all my sculpted arty ones away and realised we'd packed a couple by mistake, not ONE bit of melting occurred!
