    Default Leaving party booked

Here we are with only 6 weeks until we fly ... can't believe that the time is flying past so quickly.

We have finally organised our leaving party ... for the 20th July, which also happens to be our Wedding anniversary so a bit of a double whammy! am very excited but also a bit apprehensive about the "goodbyes".

OMG .. what are we doing eh?

    Lou

ps. am hoping to have some "job" news this week too ...

I can feel the excitement building from here . Hope the 'Goodbyes' aren't too stressful. Just look on them as 'Au revoirs' as everyone makes their own plans to visit you, usually 5 mins. after you've landed.

Hope that 'certain person' won't make things more difficult for you and can hold herself in check until you've gone.

Keeping fingers and everything crossed for job news.

thanks MB ... I'm not even going to invite that certain person, as I'm not having her ruin another occasion (our childrens Naming Ceremony). Besides, she's working that day anyway ...

Yep - guess I am a REALLY bad daughter

Personally, I'd see it as protecting your interests. In this case, your family. Enough is enough.

6 weeks That means we only have 12 weeks. Where does the time go? Have you decluttered everything? checked it all off your list? Good luck with the job this week. Hope to see you in Chch.

Nearly sorted - am just waiting for PSS to get back to us with a price for adding a couple of extra boxes to our container as we (I) kept far too much stuff aside to fit into our luggage allowance!

Job that looks promising is in Auckland, but if it's a "yes" from them, I think it would be a fantastic opportunity for me and my CV, so might have to "slum" it in Auckland, although I am gradually coming around to that possibility. Should hear either today or tomorrow so am sat here wishing the phone to ring!!

Oh and Jon is just busy doing this -> As apparently he "won't be able to do this when we're in New Zealand!" Still, at least it means I can watch my trashy TV programmes without his rude comments?

5 weeks, and 6 days now!!

Aiee, so exciting & terrifying! Before you know it, you'll be settling into a kiwi home. Poor Jon - no beer in NZ. He has to stock up, eh?
