    Default Hmmmmm, which shipping company???

    Hi all,

House seems to be repelling all viewers- they are a picky bunch n this current market!! I have had Excess International round to quote for shipping (was roughly what I had estimated), but I want to get a couple of others round before I get it all booked.... Has anyone got any recommendations from who they have used- or any warnings!! i am sure they are all much of a muchness, but any pointers greatly appreciated!!

Hubby flies out tom to sit his exam (we both have to sit a clinical exam- mines booked for Nov- yuk!!!), and open a new bank account etc... all very exciting!!!!!!!

    Thanks in advance:smiley

I tried to go back to look for a thread dealing with shipper recommendations as I know we've covered this topic several times before, but couldn't find a title that gave the impression it was all about this. Perhaps, if you do a search for 'shippers' or 'shipping' and read through some of the threads, you may gather some useful info.

Hopefully they are quoting a container. It is your best option all around.

    Cheers.

    Default Excess

We used Excess and found them very good and easy to deal with . We had half a container and in hindsite we should have packed everything anyway despite sharing a container we recieved all our possesions in good order and had a lovely south African man complete with nail varnish and face make up deliver them. So even a smile at the end!!

    We used Britania.
They were about 3 and a half thousand for 20 foot container.Thats full packing and removal
And 120 a month storage. We had to pay about 6 months storage
The guys packing were really nice. but dont know at this end as its not arriving until 2 weeks today
    Cant wait.
I never noticed though, but you have to pay quarentine tax ,which for us is about 300 bucks
But so far with Britania we have been happy
