Default Petrol prices up everywhere.
Petrol prices go up everywhere. In New South Wales/Australia the gas now costs about $ AUS 1.50 a litre and Australia does have some oil herself. Mind you, Australian pay GST on Excise tax. The petrol iks expensive because China and India buy a lot and they don't care what they pay. It's just not enough oil for all any more...

In New Zealand you don't need to drive that long distances so I guess having a small car would not cut into my wallet as having to drive to work for 50 km in stop and go traffic in Sydney.
