Fingers crossed for the house sale Gina. We are nearly in the same position. We had a sale fall through and this weekend we have had 2 offers - still waiting for them to formally go through the agent. They are both 1st time buyers so we are crossing our fingers for that.

Fantastic news about your house Nicky, I'm sure they'll both come through with formal offers and then you can take your pick, I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

I've got to start my research in shipping boxes over to NZ again, can't remember where I got up to last time I thought we were on our way. Pretty sure it was either PSS or Excess Baggage Company. Arrghh the thought of packing every up again is awful, I've just started thinning out the kids toys, I hope they don't find where I've stashed them.

If we do exchange contracts this could be a manic few weeks.

Got to get my lists going again, even my lists aren't organised, I've got excel sheets, hand-written lists, printed out lists......

Still no sign of the remote I'm afraid. Wish it would turn up 'cos I'd so love to prove the techie bloke wrong!

Had a frantic dig in the garage this morning and found the remote inside a pair of wellies/gumboots. Exactly where you'd look I know....

Anyway, the sad news is that the techie guys were right. My Panasonic freeview decoder from the UK will not work in NZ. I don't know if it's an aerial thing, a tuning thing or a software thing, but it couldn't find any signals.

If you've got one and you're still in the UK, give it to your gran or sell it on Ebay 'cos it's not worth bringing with you!

Hey well done on finding your remote! How on earth did it end up inside a gum-boot? That's something that I would have done.

Thanks for letting me know, the freeview box I bought has a hard-disk in it and I've got it loaded with Roary the Racing Car and some bizarre programme called Higgletown Heroes, apparently without these my kids cannot live. Just need to top it up with a few Cbeebies programmes and we'll be sorted.

Thanks for your help everyone.

Gina
