Default Our house is sold!
Well .. what an eventful week it has been ....

Thursday PSS arrived at 8am an packed all our stuff, and by 8pm they had a lorry load to take off to the stored.

Friday morning we picked up the keys for our rental, and then spent the rest of the morning moving our remaining stuff from old house to new bungalow.

Friday afternoon, the solictor called to say that we had completed ... although still to pick up the fat cheque from the solicitors to pay into my bank account.

Phew ... stress levels are slowly returning to normal ....

ps. You won't be hearing much from Banjo Jon as he's internet-less now ... who knows? He might get some housework done now

Sounds like phase 2 is well under way then. You must have taken some Senakot to get things moving all at once .

Will you be getting Internet in the bungalow or won't it be worth it for the time you're there? There's not much use Dawn calling Jon names on air, when the radio shows recommence, if he's not around to hear them.

It's only a short term let, and as there isn't even a landline there, no chance of us getting internet.

There is free wifi in a few places near here, including McDs so might be a weekly haunt for a coffee, play for the kids and quick surf for Dad!

I shall have to get used to squeezing any internet access into my working hours ;-)

for the interview, Lou. I'll get Taffy and WG to sweep the driveway down ready for your campervan . That drive is getting quite familiar to this forum with all the personalities who've camped on there or visited the house. Perhaps we should get a visitors' book for y'all to sign or a special plaque for the wall with all the names on.

Fab news Lou Bet you let out a big sigh of relief. It's a good feeling And you would be more than welcome here in Hamilton. Willow could board with us whilst you got sorted and BJ and I could take a cabaret act out on the circuit to earn some extra cash. I like that idea - choose Hamilton

MB it's always better if BJ's not around to hear me slander him live on air! That really was just a slip of the tongue and I knew he would take it in good humour coz he's that 'gerramongsitit youth' type. There are others who would have launched a libel suit I'm sure
