Thanks everyone for your well wishes.

I'm a little flabbergasted this morning .. had the telephone interview last night, and to be honest wasn't really sure if they liked me or not.
Got into work, opened my emails and there, in my inbox is an invite to attend a face-to-face interview in NZ. Not just that, but an all expenses paid interview, meet-and-greet, check out the town, schools etc!!

Oh, and it's in 2 weeks time so am trying to get my passport back from NZIS!

Wow, what an opportunity. Offers like that don't often come along. You turned it down, of course?

Thats great about the job Lou- they must like you if they're willing to fly you out?Is it a big company? They got any jobs for Neil?

Crikey ... I emailed NZIS about an hour ago, and our passports are in the post already!!

Now, who's going to tell Mum about this?

Oh, and I nearly forgot ... they are only interested in employing Jon too .. in MY interview, the guy started asking what Jon does, if he's looking for work, whether he has a CV!! Nearly offered him a "BOGOF" - but not sure if they are familiar with that term in NZ

Is Willow all good to go with all her tests and stuff? If I remember rightly, 2 weeks to go was big count down with a schedule of tests that had to be done in exactly the right order at exactly the right time. Or are you leaving her at home and flying her later? Our two came out on the same flight as us. What fun!!

Good luck with the MIL. Get it over and done with. It's not as if she hasn't had enough time to get her head round it. Time for her to stop being selfish and think of you guys.
