hey bianca,

when are you guys leaving and i m sure u said it before, which airline r u flying with??
i m leaving in 2weeks as well (21st) and although i m really excited, i m a bit nervous at the same time :(
my partner has found a job in auckland and i really didnt want to be there :(
oh well...

drink lots of water and try to sleep as much as u can and drink lots and lots of water, best to start a few days before, just carry it with u wherever u go!
and wear comfy clothes, and dont forget to take spare clothes with u to have a little wash and change when u stop over, it feels great to put some clean clothes on and makes u feel much better! (i think u ve heard all this before )

have a great flight over!!!!!!!!!

Simone

Stop it! You're making me nervous and I'm not even going yet. Seems so strange that you're actually getting ready to go after all this time.

We fly on the 24th (Easter monday) with Air NZ. Don't get much of a stop over just a couple of hours in LA for re-fueling and a couple hours in Aukland waitng for connecting flight to Welli.

I'm sure the next two weeks will really drag- been doing some sorting this weekend ready for shipping company to come next week (17th)- gonna have to pack cases during the week to see what fits and what doesn't.

hey bianca!

I flew air NZ via LA on my way to europe last september as well, the stop over in LA is a weird one! all passengers get walked down to customs, u have to go through custom clearance, and then walk back up into a waiting room.. u get drinks (water and orange ) and apples there and then back onto the plane...
I m flying air NZ via LA again next Friday , best thing about flying via LA is the 2pieces of luggage per person rule :) yaaaaayyyy
have a great trip!

Don't mention the apples!!!! Watch them Beth they are sneaky little suckers and hide in dark corners of your bag Be vair vair careful, the underground fruit revolution is edging towards an assault on New Zealand borders. They have wild and dangerous plans that involve brain washing young children to stow them away in their parents hand luggage! Some of them are even prepared to be half devoured by said children as a means to their cause. Talk about hard case!!! It is rumoured the big fat Stalinist oranges are the ones brain-washing the smaller fruit fraternity. Feeding them lies and Baby Bio! Watch them Beth! Take your eyes from them at your peril!!

Will be sure to keep my eye on them Dawn- we can't have them beating Taffy to the leading role.
