Talking Wahoo, it's finally happening
I can't believe it, things are finally starting to happen. We've got a buyer for our house and today I found out that he's not bothering to get a survey so it's full steam ahead with all the searches and legal bits and then we're on our way to NZ

We're planning on having a four week period between exchanging contracts and completion so that we can get our furniture sold and book tickets, say goodbye to friends and family, hand in notice at work, etc.

I don't really know what to do with myself now....I think a celebration is in order

Arrghh why can't things go smoothly? Our purchaser is now having problems with his mortgage, he's doing a let-to-buy and his rental valuation isn't high enough although our agent has said that if we can convince him to get another rental valuation they'll be able to do one that will met his needs. Apparently he desperately wants our house so hopefully we can sort things out, I'm going for the glass still half full train of thought, sending loads of 'you want to buy my house' vibes in his direction, let's see how far the power of positive thought can get me.
