Default First Viewing, First Offer
Had the first viewing on our house on Saturday and have just been contacted to say they loved the place and they have put in their first offer!!! Bit off the mark, so waiting for Lu to come home so can say no, and see if they come back with another offer. All very scary and somewhat exciting. Fingers crossed they come up with an acceptable we offer.

Jon, it's getting serious!

Well, if they loved the house THAT much, I'm sure they'll make an effort to up their offer to something more acceptable. After all, that's the way of it. Put a low offer in first and then work your way up.

We could do with a bit of excitement on here to wake up this sleepy old town, so this could be just the ticket. Fingers are well crossed in anticipation of some good news from you soon.

Ah Jon and Lu, congrats on your 1st offer and fingers crossed they come up with something nearer to what you are asking for the property. We ended up with a bidding war on our house, so make sure you still let other people come and see the house until you get an acceptable price for it - I'm an evil Moo!! Let us know how you get on?

That's promising news Jon!!!

Fingers crossed they come back with a better offer. I wish our sale was going as well.

Had yet another veiwing on Sunday afternoon- seemed really keen and loved the veiws (but then they always do) but had no offer yet.

Any news on the ITA yet?

Let's hope everything soon falls into place.
