Jon, you are a fat git with stringy arms and legs, nevertheless I likes you long time and I am willing to pay for a hitman to do in your 'leading you up the garden path' offerers. This may seem a little extreme but this is how desperate I am to have more friends in Hamilton Truly, something will come along soon because I have seen it in a dream.....'I was walking along the banks of the river when seven fat cows came on out of the Nile oh aha.....' and then a bloated belly man ate the fat cows up and regurgitated them as NZ permits oh aha bop shawaddy bopbop shwaddy wop Yeah baby you know it!!!!!!

I said MORE friends - don't worry you will still be my bestest, stuck with glue, get into trouble together, arrested together, fungogetting friendy wendy BUT Jon sounds like fun and so does Lou AND they've got a doggy to be doggy friends with my doggies.

Jon, you must understand these 'insults' are all really terms of endearment and not insults at all.

Not sure about the 'arrested together' bit but the rest is cool

I wish I had a doggy to be doggy friends with your doggies but Taffy is not a doggy-lover and therefore any hopes of having a doggy to be doggy friends with your doggies are cruelly dashed

Jon & Lou, I shall willingly share my fwend with you, there is PLENTY of her to go around (personality-wise I mean ) I will pray for you as I pray for my sanity every day

Gaz wasn't really a doggy person either he was kind of non-committal either way but he's a doggy person now alright A roll around on the floor getting your arm chewed off by the bear type doggy person, it's amazing how quickly the non-lovers become converted. I would recommend just getting one anyway but I know the Tafmeister would not be pleased at this....I have seen his face when the bear slobbers on his clothes and hands and shoes and all that.......ummmm I could just fetch one of those baby bears from Fionas? Now, they're not big enough to be conspicuous yet, about the size of Keeweegals Westies and they're only 7 weeks!! He would fall in love with one of them if he were to find one sitting on his chest when he opened his eyes in the morning. Shall I go get you one, shall I, shall I?

I wanted a baby bear, but Lou said they would be too big for the house. Hmmm, they might not be in NZ though.

I was never really a doggy person, but Lou already had one when we got together. A Basset Hound of all things. When she went, we both missed having a dog, which really surprised me. Now we have the walking nightmare that is Willow. She's great fun, and wonderful with the kids, she just does not get the whole, coming back when off the lead thing.

I think kids learn so much from having animals around and not just about responsibility as is the commonly quoted reason for having them. Because animals think so completely differently to us we have to be open to learning from them, they encourage acceptance, tolerance and patience.

I know where to get baby bears from Jon so if you decide to give one a go when you get here let me know. You would be surprised actually at how little room they take up. When Hugo's in he lies down out the way and you forget he's even there, it's just when he decides to play he makes his presence felt but, thankfully, that's usually when he's outside. I will post some piccies of the baby newfies soon, they are adorable.
