Thanks everyone, we were out for the day yesterday so came back hoping we may have missed a call from the agents. Have heard nothing, so fingers crossed we hear something today.

We are off to Portland later, James is looking forward to running around the castle and seeing the lighthouse. Should be a fun day, hope the weather holds for us.

Jon, I'll bid 5k above anything they offer until it reaches the price you want. Of course, this offer is based on the usual clauses such as property inspection, due dilligence, colours of flowers in the garden, local species of bumble bee, cider drinking competitions, the water table, how I'm feeling on the day and the fact that I have no money and dont want your flippin house anyway.

I hereby withdraw that offer on the grounds that I have no grounds to speak of.

Where there's life there's hope. If you had one person there who loved it, you're bound to get others. It's just that they might have more money than the first lot and be able to afford to pay your price.

My advice which I've given to others on here (and they've probably totally ignored) is to forget about selling the house. Put it to the back of your minds and get on with everything else that'll take you mind off it. It's thought that, when you're concentrating hard on something, you block the good and helpful vibes from getting through to assist you. To remove that block, you focus your attention elsewhere and allow things to run their own course.

It may have been purely coincidence, but those I said this to did sell their houses shortly afterwards. It worked for me, too.

I think you need to put some flesh on those arms and legs, Jon. You'll never pass your medical with limbs as thin as that. I know they don't go too easy on those that are overweight, but you've taken it to the other extreme.
