I was just about to send the police check forms back to the police when I wondered whether we have to one for Lauren as she is now 16? Does anyone know?

Dawn, on here (click on 'good character') they say everyone who's included on the residence application needs to be of good character. However, later on they say they will do character checks on everyone 17 years and over. If you read all the blurb lower down I think it makes it quite clear that it's only folks 17 and over that need actual police checks so get yerself down to NZ quickly or cancel Lauren's next birthday until after you get there. :wink:

Ummm, I've just been for a walk on the beach and had the wind clear my head (or so I thought). Now I'm back, I'm suddenly wondering why you need police checks if you're going on VVs ? Have you mentioned why in a previous post and it's just my ageing, sun-bleached brain that's letting me down? Perhaps you're getting them 'just in case' you and Gaz get jobs pretty quickly? That sounds like a plan.
