Hey guys, our tickets are booked for July 15th and paid the unbelievable ?5k for the dogs to be on the same flight as us. So we'll be there before you know it!!

Well, finally it's your turn, Dawn. After watching everyone else fly off to their new lives, it's your time now (well.... in July it will be). So pleased for you, but fingers crossed that the kiwi dollar has a change of heart before you go so you can change your money with a happy heart.

Like you say MB it's been a long time coming, I've been part of this forum for two years now. Thanks for all the positive vibes guys, I'm sure gonna need them over the next few months. I'm organising a Showcase at the theatre as well for
1st June. It's going to be my way of saying goodbye to all the young people I've worked with over the years and going out on a high because otherwise I will get so upset about all the kids I'm leaving behind. They'll all have the chance to perform, it'll be a singing, dancing, theatrical extravaganza and I might even get the old jazz shoes out for a short number, y never know! But you can imagine how much organising that's taking as well as thinking about this NZ malarchy as well.

Deb, if it's Laurens prom you mean that's on June 29th so she won't miss it. As for us, we're hoping to just disappear in the night without anyone making any fuss at all.

Will you still be there when we arrive Maggie or will you be on your way home by then?

Looking forward to meeting up with a few of you on our travels. Please PM me closer to the time if you're up for being marked on the map as a tea and biscuits stop. The dogs will be with a friend so no need to worry about the 12 stone bear making a visit

Hi Dawn,

You must be sooooooo excited!

Your mind must be swimming with the things you must do. Can understand quietly leaving ... we said our goodbyes to family with the best of British reserve - a wave and "see yer", as if we were just going on holiday.

You haven't told us of your plans (or I've missed them somewhere) - are you going straight down to Welly or touring the country? Shocked at the price of flights for your dogs - would hope they get plenty of comforting words and the best a la carte doggy menu for that!
