I'm sorry to start a new topic like this, but I had to tell the world of MoveTo that WE'RE IN on a PR - we have just received our passports with the visas in and the estate agents are to arrive in the imminent future. ?;D How happy are we!!!. Now it?s the hard bit of try to sort everything else whilst trying to keep the house tidy for potential buyers!!! ?:o

I will keep reading the forum now for all the hints on the next stage!!!.

Thanks for all the information everyone pops on here, I have found some invaluable advice so far.

Hi all

Thank you for all your kind wishes. I'm in the process of the getting the house valued and the movers in to give a quote, so it's all go!!! ?:D

We decided on our holiday that we wanted to settle in Christchurch, though we do have friends in Auckland are quite keen for us to settle there!! ?We will of course visit them when we first arrive in the country but we are quite determined to get to Christchurch. The city itself is lovely and the surrounding area is stunning. Don't know what areas to live in yet but I have time to research that!!!

I'm still having to pinch myself that all this is true!!!

For those of you who are still in the process - it is worth all the work in the end!!!!

Hi Millsy,

One of our other members is thinking of moving to ChCh as well.

She's looking for info on it. It would be good if you passed on any of your thoughts and esxperiences either before your move or once youre there??
