Are there any restrictions on shipping in my CB Radio equipment and Radio Scanners from the UK? as I can't find anything listed on NZ Customs website under "PROHIBITED IMPORTS"

    Hi Julian,

I don?t know how much research you?ve done on taking your CB to NZ, so I?m posting a few links which may cast doubt as to whether it?ll work down there or not.

Might also be worth checking whether your CB would even work in NZ as the frequencies might be out.

Also looks like most CB's in NZ are AM sets, which aren't common in the UK.

That's what the above links are for. :D

'Not all radio services have common frequency allocations throughout the world. Radio transmitters and telecommunications equipment that operate satisfactorily in one country may cause interference to other radio or television broadcast reception in New Zealand.'
