Thanks, Elizabeth. Some thanks must also go to member Expat who's idea it was to start such a thread in the first place.

As is the nature of the Internet, no doubt some of the links are now defunct, so, if anyone spots one that's not working, perhaps you could post up about it and I'll see if I can rectify it. Sometimes the sites are taken off and other times it's just the link that's been changed in which case, with a bit of luck, I can try to find the new link to it.

Hey

Those are great. The links have given me loads of info

There is only one thing i am still hunting for info on - CHildcare???
Is there any available?

After school clubs?
Nannies?
Babysitters?

And how do they work?

I currently live in the UK and most schools have after school clubs, but am not sure what we will do in NZ! I will have to work (at least part time), but kinda worried about what i will do with my girls!

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Caz

Hi Caz,

All of the above are available, but depending on area can be hard to obtain. In some places, there's 2 year queues to get in to childcare centres! When you know a bit more about where you plan on living, you could contact the schools in that area as they will know whats in the area, or could even provide after school clubs themselves.
