don't worry abouting packing things away cos the packers do it all for you, so they will only unpack it anyway, cos they insist on doing itinerary. You just need to get rid of all the things you aren't taking.

Just thought I'd save you a bit of time!!!!!

I wish we had packers, unfortunately we're doing it all ourselves as we arent shipping anything over, just going to store it at our parents until we know for sure what we're doing.

The house looks like a bomb has hit it as all our furniture is slowly going, its so unhomely looking.

We're moving in with our folks on the 14th July for a couple of weeks until we fly out and I cant wait! We can relax in a nice, clean house rather than our tip at the moment. It will be bliss....

Just did the countdown and its only 29 days till we move house and 42/43 days till we fly out assuming we can get a flight on the 1st or 2nd aug aggggg oh and the medicals come back fine of cours e :icon_biggrin:

Hi,

We're going to go to Kuala Lumper first for a few days then head off to AKL and drive to Opotiki, Bay of Plenty and look for work round there for a month or so as thats where my friends live, we're looking for work in Edgcumbe and Whakatane just now.

What are your plans? Hey may see you at the airport [smiley=006.gif]

Hello,

Meeting up would be so cool. Are you going to be renting when you go across? I've been looking on the net at the mo for some houses and they're all dead cheap and by the beach or looking onto the beach [smiley=icon_biggrin.gif]

How long you staying in AKL?

Do you plan to settle in BOP or move about, what part you going too? It's like 101 questions from me sorry about that...

We're going to stay a little while jobs going well but if we cant get a job we'll have to move on.

Both Stu and I loved it when we were there, it was such a nice area, nice and peaceful but still lots to do and explore

well good luck to you both and hope you get to settle in,. in the bop.taurunga was one of our target areas at first but house prices seem to have risen quite sharply there.did not spend a great deal of time in opitiki or whakatane but when we drove through (onthe way down to hawkes bay)they did seem very nice .
i think MB posted something on here about it being cheaper to build than to buy around opitiki. love to hear moreabout that part of the country
