Flights

If this thread takes off, it would make a great sticky.

It would be good to know what flights you've booked or chosen. How about giving info on
1.) when you booked
2.) how much
3.) Who with (agent/airline)
4.) What route you took
5.) Stopover/changeover time (3 nights, 2 hours etc.)

Just a thought lets see how it goes. Even if you did it a while back still would be relevant I think.

Angie has done this aprt of the research (after schools etc).

Our itinerary will be -

Heathrow to Hong Kong with Cathay Pacific (4 day "stop over" with friends).
Hong Kong to Sydney with Cathay Pacific (3 day "stop over" with friends).
Sydney to Auckland with Air New Zealand.

Booked from the relavent airlines homepages (it will be mid winter when we arrive)

4 seats ?2000 (a shade over) all in

Then an Ace Rentals car for a multi stop over route to Welly (They will haggle if you can get another quote - last time they beat a rentadent quote)

hehe 'rentadent' you'd hire from them?

Sounds a like a good price, especially with that itinery. Is that 2 adults 2 kids? When I was looking for april flights I was looking at around 1500 with 2 adults, child and infant but that was flying in April, maybe it will go down a tad come may/june.

Don't worry about nattering on this thread I'll keep it tidy to keep posts relevant when the conversation ends. Hopefully some other folk will chip in with there flight info in due course.
