This is one of those occasions when it's good to be wrong. Well done! Couldn't have worked out better. How much more good luck can a person have?

Wow, congrats Natty on your job - NZ life seems to be going well for you and your family - here's hoping its as good for us when we land in early June.

Any other IT support roles going at the hospital?? [smiley=icon_biggrin.gif]

Best wishes from Maggie and family (who used to live in Taunton too!)

thanks everybody,,.

we actually lived in martock maggie..
but i worked at the panasonic centre for a while before i got into IT.

i love somerset...

life in nz is fan bloody tastic.

we've decided it's so good, that we aren't bothering with a long term rental.
we're buying.

and yes mb you're right.. i've started to wonder how long this run of good luck can last.
I keep thinking something really catastrophic is going to happen that puts the mockers on all the good luck..
like our house sale falling throuh and 11th hour and 59th minute...

(touching wood in a big way)..

anyway.. thanks again everybody..
i can't wait to get back on broadband so I can be as active as i want to..

so much to say, and so little bandwidth..

Mental. Really pleased for you, you're certainly making your own luck and being a fortune favoured brave.

Me coming to see you will be bad luck, I have that effect on people, got your PM tho so no escape hehe.

I was brought up in Somerset (moved when I was 7). Lived in Shepton Mallet. Somerset was cool but not a scratch on Cornwall. Herefordshire gives it a cracking run for it's money to but for the inbreds :icon_rolleyes:

You're an inspiration to us all Natty. I guess the word is to take one day at a time, don't be too worried if everything doesn't go exactly to plan and recognise and grasp every opportunity that comes your way. Embrace change, change is good, it keeps you on your toes and reminds you you're alive.

Courage is what it's all about! Natty proves it.... [smiley=023.gif]

WHAT??!!! But I thought it was a done deal. Hell?s teeth, can?t believe they?d do that at the 11th hour. Come to think of it, yes I can, going by what others have experienced. Had to keep checking I wasn't reading an old post. Hope they?ve got a bl**dy good reason.

Feel utterly devastated for you. With summer around the corner, perhaps it?ll go quickly if it goes back on the market. Needless to say, I wish you the very best of luck with it.
