First Proper NZ Post

The rental we are moving to is a 3 bed,, $165 a week.. (60 quid roughly)

It has a big bit of garden and a little lean too type of car port thing..
It's far from palatial but by christ it'll ding dang do for me..

Couple of weeks in New Zealand and he's turned in to Ned Flanders!

Great things are STILL panning out well for you.

Have you treid any Macs (Mackashens Brewery) beer yet? Brewed in Nelson - so you should see it on Masterton Supermarket shelves. Try the Macs gold - it will give the mass produced Tui a bloody good run for its money.

welshgirl, we paid the full 8990 but he agreed to renew some of the tyres that were legal but would have needed doing at the next WOF test..

Made the fatal mistake of finding the exact car that the wife and kids had picked over the net.. exact model colour etc..
they had seen a picture of one when I was looking at bighorns and they all said we want that ..whatever it is..
As soon as they saw it, I was screwed.. the salesman knew it too...

Also, I should have gone back the next day on my own and haggled some, but ho hum.. it's a fair price by kiwi standards so.. we're all happy..
We pick it up tomorrow..

I'm still job hunting, have a couple of interviews arranged for this week.. so hopefully something will come of one of them..
